Upon your arrival at the airport in the city of Cusco, our agency team will be waiting with your respective name and will take you to your designated hotel. Once there, you’ll receive a soothing coca tea to help with the altitude, and you may also have a light lunch as recommended. After recharging our energy, we’ll begin the City Tour through the city center of Cusco, where we’ll visit the Plaza de Armas and the Coricancha Temple.
Then, we’ll take our transportation to the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukara Tambomachay. These places will have a guided tour where you’ll learn all about Inca history. Finally, we’ll return to the city of Cusco, arriving between 6:45 pm to 7:00 pm. Our vehicle will drop you off in the downtown area so you can experience Cusco at night and also enjoy dinner at nearby traditional restaurants.
After having breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up from the hotel reception at 07:30 am. Then, we’ll travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, making strategic stops to take photos and enjoy the stunning views over the Sacred Valley. We’ll later arrive at the town of Pisac, where we’ll stop to explore the Pisac artisan market.
Afterward, we’ll ascend to the high part to visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, where we’ll see agricultural terraces, religious temples, and ceremonial water sources. Throughout the visit, we’ll receive an explanation about the entire Inca history. After the visit, we’ll return to the town and continue our journey to the town of Urubamba, where we’ll stop for a buffet lunch. After recharging our energy, we’ll head to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city, as it still retains inhabitants living in houses built by our ancestors with cobblestone streets and water channels.
Then, we’ll visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo with a guided tour. At the end of the visit, the minibus will drop you off at the Plaza de Armas of Ollantaytambo, located 10 minutes from the train station. You’ll have free time until your train departure to Aguas Calientes according to the assigned schedule. The train journey takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Once in Aguas Calientes, you’ll be greeted at the train station and accompanied to the hotel. You’ll also be informed of the exact pickup time for the following day and you’ll have time to have dinner in one of the many restaurants in Aguas Calientes and rest.
You’ll have breakfast at your hotel, and then your guide will pick you up and take you to the bus station to catch the bus to Machu Picchu. Once there, we’ll go to the control booth to register and then begin the guided tour, which takes approximately 2-3 hours. During the tour, we’ll appreciate important sites such as agricultural terraces, temples, squares, and ceremonial water sources.
After visiting Machu Picchu, at the end of the guided tour, the guide will say goodbye to the group and you’ll decide when to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch at one of the many restaurants until the train departure. Finally, you’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo (train schedule subject to availability and will be indicated in the pre-tour meeting).

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your respective hotel and travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas via the high route. During the journey, we’ll enjoy impressive views of inter-Andean valleys. Upon reaching the town of Maras, we’ll stop for a guided tour to learn about this colonial town. Then, we’ll head to the archaeological complex of Moray, considered the center of agricultural experimentation and production. You’ll have enough time to take photos and explore.
Later, we’ll visit the Maras Salt Mines, where we’ll see over 3000 salt ponds known as the “Maras salt mines.” The salt is obtained through a process created since Inca times, using sun-drying of saltwater from an underground stream. Finally, we’ll return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 2:00 to 2:30 pm approximately. Then, we’ll drop you off at the Plaza de Armas, where you can have lunch and explore the city center.

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport.
