Itinerary

Day 1City Tour in Lima

City tour in Lima, visit Huaca Pucllana Once you arrive in Peru our personal will welcome you in the hall of the airport and drive you to the hotel. After resting for a while we’ll start visiting the most interesting places of the ” City of the Kings “: the Cathedral, Pizarro’s Tomb, the Catacombs of San Francisco, passing through the Congress, the Palace of Torre Tagle. The residential areas of Orrantia, San Isidro, where we will visit the Huaca Pucllana, we will enjoy a spectacular sight of the Pacific Ocean. Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, where you will find a great quantity of preincaica pottery including the World biggest collection of erotic Huacos, then we’ll spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2City tour in Cusco

be in the airport of Lima at least two hours before your flight leaves to Cusco,you only have to approach to the airline counter and display your ID’s to check in ,the flight to Cusco lasts 1 hr and 10 minutes, In Cusco ” The Archaeological Capital of America”, Our staff will be waiting for you to take you to the Hotel, where you will drink coca tea then you can rest for a while .around 1:30pm We’ll pick you up from your Hotel to start visiting the following attractives with a professional guide:

The Koricancha Palace and Convent of Santo Domingo: Religious center known as “The Temple of the Sun” where you will admire the impressive engineering used in its construction

The Cathedral: Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value.

Sacsayhuaman: Built at 3 Km. From the city of Cusco, impressive stone fortress with an excellent architecture, Famous for its huge carved stones some of which are at 9 m/ 30 feet high,with a weigh of 350 tons. Here is where the Inty Raymi or Fiesta del Sol is held in June Every year.

Qenqo: Ceremonial and ritual center, amphitheatre where sacrifices were made.

Puca – Pucara: An old tambo (resting place), monitoring place throughout the Inka Empire Routes.

Tambomachay: At 7 Km. From the city of Cusco, ceremonial center of cult to the water,known traditionally as the place where water rests.

At the return to Cusco we can be dropped off near to main Square or at The Dance and Music Show to watch tipical dances of Cusco.

Day 3Sacred Valley of the Incas

This tour starts around 9 am., we pick you up at your Hotel, we have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota river, with a panoramic view of Pisac an old Inca City and a visit to the Inka market in this village, where we will have the chance to know in a closer way its people customs and get good bargains with the handycrafts and souvenirs sellers, afterwards we’ll head for Urubamba, traveling on the borders of the river Vilcanota.

We’ll have lunch at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from the jungle habitants invasions. We’ll have the chance to walk by the narrow streets and have a clear knowledge of how this militar, religious and cultural center was during the Inca empire.

On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero, where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the man square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Then we return to Cusco.

Day 4Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria

Pickup from hotels between 6:30 to 7:00 AM, followed by a scenic bus journey to Abra Malaga. This route offers spectacular views of the Andean landscape as you ascend towards the starting point of your downhill biking adventure.

After gearing up and a safety briefing, embark on a thrilling 3-hour bike ride. Descend through diverse ecosystems, starting from the chilly high-altitude grasslands and sweeping through lush cloud forests, experiencing a dramatic change in scenery and climate. This journey is not only an adrenaline rush but also a unique way to witness the biodiversity of the region.

Conclude the day at Huaman Marca, an intriguing archaeological site. Spend some time exploring these lesser-known ruins, which provide a quiet contrast to the busier sites later in the trek.

Overnight stay in local hostels in Santa Maria. This offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with local communities, enjoy authentic Andean hospitality, and taste traditional cuisine.

Day 5Santa Maria – Santa Teresa

Start at 6:00 AM with breakfast, then begin your hike alongside the river. As you climb up an original Inca trail, discover the rich flora and fauna of the region. This path is a historical treasure trove, offering insights into Inca engineering and their deep connection with nature.

The hike passes through Quellomayo for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy a peaceful break in this small village, perhaps indulging in some local fruit or chatting with villagers.

Continue to the Santa Teresa hot springs for a soothing dip. These natural hot springs are the perfect remedy for your tired muscles, and they also offer a serene setting to reflect on the day’s journey.

Finish the day with a hike to Santa Teresa, where another warm hostel awaits you

Day 6Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes Town

Get up at 06:30 AM, have breakfast, and get ready for another adventure.

After breakfast at around 08: 00 AM, the zip line company will pick you up and take you to start of the ziplines. After a short introduction, you will begin your exciting 2-hour adventure, crossing four different cables.

After zipline activity, Take a 1-hour car ride to Hidroelectrica for lunch. After lunch, then continue with a leisurely walk along the train tracks to Aguas Calientes town. This path is flanked by lush jungle and the soothing sounds of the nearby river, making it a picturesque route to the town.
When you arrive, check into your hotel and relax

Explore Aguas Calientes or visit the hot springs. The town offers a range of cafes and shops, providing a pleasant contrast to the natural surroundings. Alternatively, relax in the local hot springs, a perfect prelude to the next day’s exploration of Machu Picchu.

Dinner and overnight in a hostel, where you’ll receive a briefing to prepare for your visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 7Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu (Visit to the Inka Citadel)

To get to Machu picchu, to reach to the main gate of Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes, you have two options. You can either walk for an hour and 30 minutes through beautiful scenery, or take a bus for US$12. You can decide on the same day of your visit to Machu Picchu. No matter which option you choose, your day will start very early in the morning, depending on what time you are allowed to enter Machu Picchu, with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu picchu, You can buy a bus ticket in town, either the night before or on the same morning. the first bus leaves fro Aguas calientes at 05:30 AM, The bus ride takes about 30 minutes to reach Machu Picchu. once your arrive there, you will meet your group and the guide, You will then all get in togetter to start exploring Machu picchu citadel. 

Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu, learning about the Inca history and culture that permeate this UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore its famous temples, terraces, and palaces with a knowledgeable guide who brings the past to life.

After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Cusco or opt for a walk to Hidroelectrica to catch a bus, concluding your unforgettable adventure.

Day 8Cusco – Lima

Early morning flight From Juliaca to Lima. International flights may depart any time after 12pm.
