Day 1Reception in Lima - City Tour

Upon your arrival at Lima Airport, our attentive staff will be waiting to greet you and provide seamless transportation to your hotel. After settling in, immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Lima with our comprehensive city tour. Lasting approximately 5 hours, this guided excursion will take you to the city’s most iconic attractions, including the Main Plaza, the historic San Francisco Temple, and the charming streets of historical Lima. Let yourself be captivated by the beauty and charm of Peru’s capital city as you explore its fascinating landmarks. After a day of discovery, enjoy a comfortable night’s stay at your hotel in Lima, rejuvenating for the adventures that await you.

Day 2Ica tour, Ballestas island - Huacachina

At 5:00 AM, we’ll begin our adventure by picking you up from your hotel in Lima. Our journey takes us 245 kilometers along the scenic Pan-American Highway, heading towards Paracas, a charming tourist destination nestled in the province of Pisco.

En route, we’ll make a brief stop in the city of Chincha, where you’ll have the option to use the facilities or indulge in a typical breakfast (optional). Afterward, we’ll continue our journey until we reach our destination, Paracas, by approximately 7:45 AM.

At 8:00 AM, we’ll set off on an exhilarating excursion to the Ballestas Islands aboard a motorized boat. Along the way, marvel at the impressive Candelabra, an immense petroglyph etched into the cliffs of the Bay of Independence. Then, 30 minutes offshore, prepare to be captivated by the diverse marine fauna inhabiting the Ballestas Islands, including Peruvian boobies, Guanay cormorants, Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and dolphins. After a captivating 2-hour tour, we’ll return to the private port of the Bay of Independence to continue our adventure.

Around 10:00 to 10:30 AM, we’ll depart for the city of Ica, where we’ll visit the prestigious Vitivincola Winery “El Catador” or “Nieto,” renowned winners of national awards. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the artisanal production of wine and pisco, as well as savor a tasting of their exquisite liquors.

After lunch, at approximately 4:30 PM, we’ll journey to the breathtaking Oasis and Lagoon of Huacachina. Surrounded by towering sand dunes, this natural oasis offers a serene escape amidst the desert landscape. Embark on a thrilling 1.5-hour buggy tour through the dunes, where you’ll experience the exhilaration of speeding over the sands and taking in panoramic views of the oasis below.

As the day draws to a close, we’ll bid farewell to Ica and begin our journey back to Lima, arriving around 10:30 PM. Retire to your hotel in Lima for a well-deserved night of rest after an action-packed day of exploration and adventure.

Day 3Flight Lima - Cusco - City Tour

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we’ll facilitate your transfer from the hotel to the airport in Lima. From there, we’ll board our air flight for a swift one-hour journey to the captivating city of Cusco.

Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, our dedicated team will be waiting to escort you to your hotel in Cusco. Once settled in, take a moment to acclimate to the altitude with a refreshing cup of aromatic coca-leaf tea, a traditional remedy in the Andes.

Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and savor a delicious lunch before embarking on our city tour, scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM. During the tour, we’ll explore the most iconic landmarks of Cusco, including the revered Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), the bustling Plaza de Armas, and the vibrant San Pedro Market. Additionally, we’ll venture beyond the city limits to uncover the ancient ruins of Sacsayhuaman and the enigmatic site of Kenko.

As the sun begins to set, around 6:00 PM, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures amidst the tranquil ambiance of Cusco.

Day 4Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Incas - Aguas Calientes Town

The adventure begins promptly at 7:30 AM, as your knowledgeable guide awaits you in the lobby of your hotel in Cusco. From there, we’ll embark on a journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a picturesque 45-minute drive by private car. Along the way, we’ll pause at strategic viewpoints, offering captivating vistas of the Sacred Valley while delving into the rich tapestry of Inca history.

Our first stop is the charming town of Pisaq, renowned for its vibrant craft market. After perusing the stalls brimming with traditional wares, we’ll ascend to the awe-inspiring ruins of Pisac. Here, amidst the dramatic backdrop of terraced mountains, you’ll behold remarkable agricultural terraces and magnificent Inca temples, each echoing tales of a bygone era.

Day 5Machu Picchu Tour - Cusco

On this unforgettable day, we’ll rise early to embark on our journey to the majestic Machu Picchu. After indulging in a hearty breakfast, we’ll make our way to the bus station, where we’ll board a scenic 30-minute ride to the entrance of the citadel.

Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, we’ll be greeted by our knowledgeable guide for a comprehensive 3-hour tour of this ancient Inca marvel. Prepare to be awestruck as we explore the most significant landmarks, from the iconic Sun Temple to the mysterious Intihuatana Stone, while unraveling the secrets of Machu Picchu’s storied past.

Your adventure to the mesmerizing Rainbow Mountain begins bright and early, as your dedicated tour guide will be at your hotel promptly at 5:00 am. From there, we’ll embark on a scenic journey aboard our private transport, bound for the charming town of Cusipata-Paucarpata.

As we traverse through picturesque Peruvian Andean towns, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the majestic Andes Mountains. The journey spans approximately 2 hours, offering ample opportunity to soak in the stunning landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival in Cusipata-Paucarpata, we’ll pause to indulge in a delicious breakfast and gather necessary supplies for our trek ahead. Our adventure truly begins upon reaching the town of Llaqto, situated at an elevation of 3700 meters above sea level. From here, we’ll embark on a challenging uphill hike lasting 2 hours, leading us to the summit of Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, marvel at glacial peaks, crimson-hued mountains, and traditional llamas and alpacas grazing amidst the rugged terrain.

Upon reaching the summit at an impressive altitude of 5038 meters above sea level, you’ll be rewarded with awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Andes and its diverse flora and fauna. After ample time to savor the beauty of Rainbow Mountain, we’ll commence our descent with a 2-hour return hike, followed by a well-deserved and delectable lunch.

As the day draws to a close, we’ll bid farewell to Rainbow Mountain and begin our journey back to Cusco. Anticipate arriving in the city around 4:00 PM, where we’ll drop you off at your respective hotel.

The Peru Adventure Tour was an exhilarating journey packed with unforgettable experiences.
