Day 02 unveils the majesty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a tour running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You’ll visit the breathtaking sites of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo, before boarding a train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Enjoy an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes, offering you a restful pause in anticipation of the following day’s exploration.

Day 03 is dedicated to Machu Picchu, starting early in the morning for a full-day exploration of this iconic citadel. Day 1Cusco City tour

Your adventure begins upon landing at Cusco Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and transported to your hotel. To help you acclimate to the altitude, you’ll be greeted with a stimulating aromatic coca tea. The morning is yours to relax or explore at your leisure, with a recommendation for a light lunch at your hotel or a local eatery.

In the afternoon, we dive into the heart of Cusco with a comprehensive city tour, including entrance to key archaeological sites and museums. Highlights include the vibrant Main Square, the majestic Cathedral, the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), and a scenic route around iconic archaeological wonders such as the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q’enko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

The tour concludes around 6:30 PM at the main square, allowing you to enjoy dinner at one of the many exquisite restaurants nearby. The day ends with an overnight stay in Cusco.

Day 2Sacred Valley of the Incas

After breakfast, your journey through the Sacred Valley begins at 8:15 AM. This full-day excursion takes you to the colorful Indian market in Pisac, offering a vivid tableau of tradition and the chance to engage with local artisans. The day continues with a visit to Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied town on the American continent, where ancient streets and Incan channels paint a picture of its rich heritage.

Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant before boarding a 2-hour train to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night, immersed in the heart of the valley.

Day 3Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu tour – Cusco

An early rise sets the stage for a breathtaking sunrise at Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel’s most significant sites, including the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the Inti Watana solar clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries.
